Trek 1000 Triple bike

The Trek 1000 is a very good starter / all-rounder road racing bike, costing about £500.

At this price the bike offers excellent value for money, and has shown itself to be popular and reliable. For general touring, commuting and riding it is an excellent choice.

For more demanding riders or lighter better components the other, slightly more expensive models in the same range also offer very good reliability and value for money.

The finish of the bike is also very attractive.

The Trek 1000 frame is of butted aluminium, with a mix of Bontrager and (cheaper) Shimano equipment.
